Burmese are a short haired breed, their coats regardless of colour should be smooth & satin like in texture, close lying and glossy

They are a compact, medium sized cat with males tending to be slightly larger. The Burmese is a muscular and well developed cat, heavier than their appearance

The head is rounded with the overall emphasis of roundness, eyes are golden that often ooze seduction to their doting owners

Burmese are extremely people-oriented, they greet and make themselves known to all of the household visitors, their personalities can be quite dog-like - many can be taught to retrieve

Burmese are intelligent and have excellent temperaments they are tolerant & outgoing which make them ideal for children and families

Burmese love warm laps & pats in front of the television and love even more to be in bed under the covers with their owners

Burmese will often convert the most anti-cat person into a Burmese fanatic. Be forewarned! You may find you cannot stop at just one!!!
